About Cognitive HealthTech

A different way of thinking about cognitive health.

Cognitive HealthTech was founded around a simple belief: understanding cognitive change should become more personal, more continuous and more connected to everyday life.

We’re bringing together science, technology, healthcare expertise and lived experience to explore a new approach to understanding how cognitive performance changes over time.

Our purpose

Cognitive change happens in life. Not just in a clinic.

Changes in memory, attention, language and behaviour can emerge gradually. They may first be noticed during an ordinary conversation, by a family member, or simply through a sense that something has changed.

Yet traditional healthcare often sees only individual moments. Cognitive HealthTech exists to explore what becomes possible when technology helps build a more continuous and personal picture of cognitive performance.

Understand the individual.
Understand change.
Create the opportunity for better-informed decisions.

Our mission

To make subtle changes in cognitive performance easier to understand.

Our mission is to develop responsible, accessible technology that transforms behavioural information from everyday interactions into meaningful longitudinal insight — helping people and healthcare professionals build a clearer picture of cognitive health over time.

Our vision

A future where cognitive health can be understood more continuously, personally and proactively.

We envision a world where people and healthcare professionals have better access to meaningful information about cognitive change — creating opportunities for earlier understanding, better-informed conversations and more personalised approaches to brain health.

The founder

Built from a personal understanding that things could be different.

For Victoria Burnip, Cognitive HealthTech began with more than an interest in technology. Personal experience of the challenges surrounding cognitive health created a determination to explore whether there could be a better way to understand change.

That question became the foundation for Cognitive HealthTech — bringing together research, healthcare insight and artificial intelligence around a more individual approach to cognitive understanding.

Human by design

Lived experience isn’t an afterthought.

Cognitive-health technology ultimately affects people and families. Their experiences, concerns and needs should therefore help shape how technology is designed, communicated and developed.

Cognitive HealthTech is committed to making sophisticated technology understandable, accessible and grounded in the realities of the people it is intended to support.

Scientific enough for a specialist. Understandable enough for the people it affects.

Collective expertise

No single discipline solves a challenge this complex.

Developing meaningful cognitive-health technology requires perspectives from science, technology, healthcare and the people whose lives may ultimately be affected by it.

  • Cognitive science

  • Artificial intelligence & data

  • Clinical expertise

  • Healthcare innovation

  • Lived experience

Our principles

How we choose to build matters.

01

Human first

Technology should work around people, not require people to work around technology.

02

Personal

Meaningful understanding begins with the individual.

03

Evidence-led

Healthcare innovation should progress through research, validation and evidence.

04

Responsible

Privacy, consent and human oversight are fundamental to cognitive-health technology.

05

Collaborative

Meaningful progress requires researchers, clinicians, healthcare organisations, people and partners working together.

Building momentum
